Refund policy

30-day returns (no hazmat batteries)

You can return most items within 30 days of receiving them. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories and manuals.

A few categories of items cannot be returned, listed under "Items that cannot be returned" below.

How to start a return

Contact us before sending anything back. We'll review your return and, if it's approved, email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the address to ship to.

Returns sent without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

Return shipping

You're responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are not refundable.

If you're returning an item worth more than $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or buying shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we'll receive your return.

Refunds

Once we receive your return, we inspect it and process it within 2 to 3 business days. We'll email you when your return has been processed and refund you to the same payment method you used for the order.

Depending on your bank, the refund may take up to 7 additional days to show up on your statement.

If your returned item arrives in less-than-new condition — damaged, dented, scratched, missing parts, or unsanitary — we may deny the return or apply a 15% restocking fee. Missing accessories, manuals, or packaging may be charged separately.

Items that cannot be returned

Some items are final sale and cannot be returned. These include:

  • Hazmat batteries. Lithium-ion batteries and battery-powered backpack and upright vacuum models are classified by the U.S. Department of Transportation as Class 9 hazardous materials. Federal regulations restrict how they can be shipped, and we cannot accept returns of these items for safety reasons.
  • Special-order items. Items that aren't part of our regular stock and are ordered specifically for you. These are marked on the product page with a "Special Order" or "Non-Returnable" icon.
  • Items that ship directly from the manufacturer and are subject to U.S. Department of Transportation shipping restrictions.

Defective products

If a product fails or has a manufacturing defect, the manufacturer's warranty applies — not this Refund Policy. Contact us at help@pro-team-store.com or (800) 886-8227 and we'll help you start a warranty claim with the manufacturer. As an Authorized ProTeam Service and Warranty Center, we can often handle ProTeam warranty claims in-house.

Damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us within 30 days of receiving the order. We'll cover return shipping in those cases and either replace the item or refund you, your choice.
